General Contractor serving Sacramento, CA since 2000

Doug Briggs Construction Inc. has been building and renovating homes across the Sacramento region for 25 years. Doug grew up in the trade, learning from a family-owned construction company where he spent his first 15 years focused on building new homes from the ground up. That foundation gave him a level of hands-on experience that most contractors simply don't have. With 40 years in the trade total, he has seen nearly every challenge a project can throw at a crew.

When Doug launched his own company, he brought that same family-business mindset with him. Relationships come first. From the first conversation to the final walkthrough, we treat every project like it belongs to someone we know, because it does. Homeowners in Newcastle, Auburn, Loomis, Carmichael, East Sacramento, and beyond have trusted us with their kitchens, their garages, their ADUs, and their full home renovations.

We are a full-service design-build company. That means we handle your project from the planning stage straight through to completion. No hand-offs to unfamiliar crews. No gaps in communication. You work with us start to finish, and we stay accountable the whole way through.

Our work covers a wide range of residential projects. We build and renovate ADUs, convert garages into livable space, remodel kitchens, and take on full home construction and renovation projects. We also serve clients in Truckee, Napa Valley, and Sacramento City, bringing the same standard of work to every job regardless of location.

Smart pricing and clear communication are not afterthoughts for us. They are how we operate. We give you honest numbers up front and keep you informed as the work moves forward. No surprises. No runaround. Just straightforward construction done right.
